10 W, dual band
VHF 136–174 MHz and UHF 400–480 MHz at up to 10 W for better reach and penetration.
Amateur radio · Tough 10 W dual-bander
The TG-K10AT combines an amateur-radio feature set with a rugged, ribbed body: 10 W on VHF and UHF, a 4000 mAh battery and loud 1 W audio.
It covers 136–174 and 400–480 MHz with 100 channels, a backlit display, voice prompts and a torch, in black or in camouflage.
Transmitting needs an amateur radio licence. In Europe licensed amateurs use 144–146 MHz (2 m) and 430–440 MHz (70 cm). Listening needs no licence in most countries.

To transmit, yes: an amateur radio licence from your national regulator, and only on the bands your licence allows. Listening needs no licence in most countries, so many owners start by listening.
Both are dual-band with a 4000 mAh battery. The TG-K10AT is the tougher 10 W radio with 1 W audio and a camouflage option; the TG-UV2 PLUS has 200 channels and FM radio.
The factory makes it in black and in camouflage. Ask us which one we have in stock.
Yes. The factory's programming software (CPS) is in the downloads above. For the right programming cable, ask us.
No. PMR446 radios must have a fixed antenna and at most 0.5 W. This radio has a removable antenna and more power, so it is not a licence-free PMR446 radio, even though it can tune to 446 MHz.
